We live in systems – sets of interconnected things, and the interconnections between those connections. Systems are present in contemporary life, manifesting in many different ways – as complex technologies, supranational megastructures, environmental assemblages, and more.

And yet systems are also strange and surprising. They are hard to make sense of; they manifest in often invisible and unexpected ways.

This series explores what we mean when we think about systems. We will explore how complex systems can be experienced, understood, and engaged with through creative, artistic, designerly, and research-based approaches. We work with the lenses of theatre, scale, time, matter, deviance, glitch, and breakage to frame our explorations.
