This workshop will disconnect you (city dwelling individual) from location data and digital information to reconnect you to a more sensory and exploratory experience of space and time.

In a small group, you will be provided with an alternate system of navigation in exchange for your digital devices. Be prepared to put away and not look at your phone for a few days!

Your journey will be led by sight, smell, sound, attentive observation and random incidental events. As part of the project, you will be introduced to design research methods and exploratory ways of working. You will capture your experiences as the basis of a narrative to develop into a short visual essay.
