PFAS are a group of man-made chemical compounds that, due to their unique properties, have been produced and used for decades in a wide variety of industries around the world. All PFAS have in common that they contain extremely stable carbon-fluorine bonds. This makes them among the most persistent substances known and virtually non-degradable in nature.

In this project I analyzed where they occur, why they are problematic, who the shareholder are and what we can do about it.
