StyleSpotter is something between an e-commerce, and a generative platform e.g. midjourney. It is dedicated to stylists in the film/theater industry using artificial intelligence to generate detailed images of outfits placed in specific scenarios, such as a desert or a post-apocalyptic setting. This enables stylists to save time and be more creative in crafting character looks.
The main feature of this service is that the image generation is based on REAL and EXISTING clothing items sourced from local vintage shops and other small businesses. This allows stylists to immediately see how a garment pairs with other elements and seamlessly integrates into a specific scenario. It's not just a virtual simulation but a representation of actual wearable pieces.
The website is crucial for targeting potential users. It has been designed according to a very organic structure, which provides a general overview of the StyleSpotter service. But also to learn more about the current shops in the app and future implementations to follow.

Since the service is something in between an e-commerce, and a generative AI service a social media marketing plan is essential to increase visibility, interaction and engagement. Especially since nowadays even IG has become a platform for selling and buying items, combining shopping and networking.
Possible future developments for StyleSpotter are geared towards staying at the forefront of the industry and better meeting the needs of your customers, ensuring the success and growth of the start-up.
1. Improving Artificial Intelligence (AI): Enhancing AI for greater accuracy and realism in the generation of sketches and outfits.
2. Expanding the type of outfits and scenarios: Expand the variety of outfits available in the marketplace, including accessories and special costumes for specific themes. Add new scenarios and environments to allow stylists to visualise outfits in even more diverse and realistic contexts.
3. Integration of augmented reality (AR) features: offer a better understanding of the proportions and appearance of garments worn in real-life situations.
4. Collaborations and partnerships: establish collaborations with production companies, film studios or theatres to provide the service directly to stylists working on specific projects.
5. Additional services: offer personalised consulting services to stylists to refine outfit selections and advice on industry trends. Create premium subscription plans with additional benefits for users who want more comprehensive support.
The StyleSpotter team salutes and warmly thanks Mauro Rego for helping guide the start-up concept and for giving us the opportunity to spend a day at Google. We would also like to thank Professor Reto Wettach for his fresh and original ideas that moved the course along.
