In the course, the approach of creative exploration should be pursued and creatively interpreted. The central means for this was the combination of speculative design and user interface design. Within the course, speculative software interfaces should thus be created, attempting to approach a „wicked problem.“

Our cutting-edge solution, known as the 'Platform for Autonomous Legal Decision Support and Artificial Intelligence-Enhanced Jurisprudence,' is poised to transform the legal landscape. This platform is engineered to automate court proceedings, present statistics and probabilities, and ultimately suggest comparisons, all aimed at resolving cases without the need for a full-fledged courtroom battle. With our platform, legal professionals can harness the power of artificial intelligence and autonomous decision support to streamline the legal process, improve efficiency, and enable informed, data-driven decisions. By offering insights into potential outcomes and facilitating fair settlements, our platform aims to expedite the resolution of cases and reduce the burden on the court system.

Conclusion

Looking back at our journey in this course as students, we encountered a mix of challenges and excitement. Finding the right wicked problem at the beginning may have seemed a bit overwhelming, but it turned out to be quite an interesting adventure. The process of selecting a complex issue that truly represented a wicked problem was a valuable learning experience. We were especially interested in the opportunity to combine speculative design with user interface design, allowing us to approach the problem creatively.

Throughout the course, we were encouraged to explore new methods and consider fresh perspectives in the fields of design and problem-solving. While we faced our fair share of obstacles along the way, the satisfaction of developing speculative software interfaces to address the wicked problem was genuinely fulfilling.

In summary, our experience as students in this course has been both rewarding and intellectually stimulating. It has equipped us with valuable skills and perspectives that will undoubtedly influence our future endeavors. We appreciate this unique learning opportunity and are thankful for being part of it.
