1 / Pitch Module
The Pitch module is a tiny wedge with a three-position switch inside, and can be controlled using the tounge. The three-position switch controlls the pitch behaviour. The top position increases the pitch value, the bottom position decreases, whereas the medium position leaves the value unchanged.
2 / Bite Module
The Bite module is a soft, elastic cylinder that controlls the buzzeffect. An FSR Force sensor inside measures the intensity of biting in the cylinder. The higher the pressure gets, the more intensive the buzz becomes.
3 / Volume Module
The Volume module is a tube-shaped vacuum cup, wich has to be sucked on the tongue. The sensor inside this module measures intensity of light, therefore, if the mouth is closed with the tongue inside the sensor will recognize little to zero light waves and the allocated loop will be muted. To increase the volume the mouth has to be opened or the tongue has to be poked out to active the sensor.
4 / Scratch Module
The Scratch module is a cone-shaped tube connected to an air pressure sensor. Whereas the scratch direction is controlled by either blowing to scratch forward, and sucking to scratch backward, the measured intensity of the pressure defines the scar tch length.
5 / Reverse Module
The Reverse module is a cuboid-shaped sensor detecting the orientation of the sensor, i.e. the play direction will reverse as soon as the sensor has been rotated by 180 degrees.
6 / Gate Module
The Gate module is a tiny ball with a tilt sensor inside. The gate effect can be activated by playing around with it with the tongue.
7 / Beat Module
The Beat module is a triangle-shaped sensor featuring three tongue operated push buttons. To jump to beat one, beat two or to do the stutter effect the three push buttons can be used respectively.

Epilogue / Motivation
The mouth of humans is the most natural sound generator, so we decided to create a new modern technology to create the sound of tomorrow. Controlling complex functions using the mouth is advantageous since it enables the musician to handle other actions simultaneously, like playing the guitar. Unfortunately there is no wireless edition currently.
