DESIGN

CONSTRUCTION

The lamp's design incorporates organically shaped wood panels on the sides, creating a natural and fluid aesthetic.

Interlocking wood joints help avoid the use of chemical glue and nails, enhancing both sustainability and structural integrity.

As it rotates on the cord, the design evokes a liquid-like motion, further emphasizing its organic appeal.

OPTICAL FLUIDITY

Due to the organic shape of the wooden side-panels, the light fixture seems almost fluid when rotating on the hanging cord.

This effect is enhanced when stacking two or more fixtures on top of each other.

CUSTOM COLORS

The use colorful ropes introduces a customizable element to the lamp design, allowing for adjustments in length, weight and color.

This flexibility enables unique aesthetic and functional variations, tailoring the lamp to individual preferences and settings.

MATERIAL

WOOD PANELS

Basswood sheets are characterized by their natural wood veneer, smooth surface, rigidity, and stability, making them suitable for laser cutting.

The use of Recycling Compatible Adhesive (RCA) enhances their environmental sustainability.

SUSPENSION ROPE

Recycled bouldering ropes provide a durable and flexible suspension material for the lamp, combining high tensile strength with resistance to wear and tear when cleaning or moving the lamp.

Their reuse supports sustainable design practices by extending the lifecycle of materials that would otherwise be discarded.
